EY Log Parent Portal
EY Log is the nursery management system and teaching and learning system the school uses to track your child's development. You should have been issued a link to download the parent app, but you can always access and update your information on line here

Holidays and absences
If you're planning to be away for an extended period, please do let us know in advance so we can plan our deployment with the teachers. We have to ensure that a specific ratio of teachers work to the children in attendance, so if we know numbers, we can redeploy for training and CPD

Change your schedule of care
We don't accept any oral instructions for a change to your contracted schedule of care, even with the manager, as we need to ensure a robust paper trail for ourselves, for Ofsted and for you. Please, if you want to modify your schedule, do only use this form - one of the community managers will be in touch within 24 hours to confirm or deny the request based on our occupancy

Submit your notice
As per our contractual terms, we need 4 weeks notice at least to process the termination of your place with the school. Submitting this form will automatically date stamp that notice for our records and yours, and allow our finance team to process your end of contract account, and process your deposit for repayment on the date of termination. No other forms of notice will be accepted so please keep note!

We review our nursery fees once a year, every September, and typically ensure that any rises are always in line with inflation. Please do always check our updated fees, as they will always be charged one month ahead of time

Local Authority Funding
Most families are now eligible for 15 hours funding for 9 month old babies through to 3 years old, some are eligible for 30 hours funding from 3 and everyone is entitled to 15 hours funding for 3-4 year old children. For any and all families who qualify for each age group and package, we need to know your National Insurance number, date of birth, and 15-30 hour funding code so that we can use them in our submissions and negate the amounts from your fees

Tax-Free Childcare
If you're looking to pay all, or some of your fees via Tax Free Childcare, you have to notify us both of the amount you're looking to pay, along with the start date and end date for those payments so that we can update your invoice. If you don't you will be charged in full so please use this whenever your plans for payments change.

Workplace Nursery Scheme
For families lucky enough to be beneficiaries of the Workplace Nursery Scheme, please always ensure that you're updating us via the WPN fee update form as we will be updating your invoices to ensure that you are not debited. Invoices will still be issued to you but netted to zero, with the liability being retained by yourself until your employer pays the fees.

Universal Credit
And for our families on Universal Credit, some may benefit from the service paying their fees on their behalf, rather than claiming the money back post payment. If that's you, and U/C will be paying on your behalf, please do update the form to allow us to negate what amounts U/C will be paying (up to 85% of the fees), so that we can net your invoice to the 15% due from yourself

Student Childcare Grants
The same is true for Students in full time study. Student Finance England will typically pay 85% of your fees up to a threshold on your behalf, and you will need to advise us of what that amount is so that we can modify your invoice to ensure that you're only debited from the balancing 15% that falls due to you to pay.

Public Sector Discount
If you work for the public sector or a charity, you might be eligible for up to 50% off your childcare fees at all Hatching Dragons schools. And these discounts work in conjunction with the 15 -30 hours funded childcare and workplace nursery schemes to allow you to massively reduce your costs. We offer 5% off for every single family you refer who registers and joins the school. That is uncapped by the number of families you can refer.
