Amazing Excursions
Tate Britain Visit
Our preschoolers had an amazing time visiting Tate Britain, exploring art and creativity in a whole new way.
They explored the renowned art gallery, marveling at various artworks and participating in interactive sessions that spurred their creativity and imagination.

In the Dragon Flights Room
Mathematics Subtraction and Addition Activities
Children engaged in fun maths exercises, learning subtraction and addition through African patterns.
Positional Language Games
The children enjoyed physical activities incorporating prepositions, enhancing their understanding of spatial relationships while having fun with Yoga.
In the Blue Dragons Room
Tracing the Jungle Numbers
In line with our monthly theme, Africa, the Blue Dragons explored a mini jungle and desert view, tracing numbers in the sand and learning to count from 1-10 in both English and Mandarin.
The Baby Dragons Group
Water Play Activity
Our youngest ones had a delightful time with water play, bathing dolls in soapy, scented water.
Singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and "My Belly Button," they learned to identify body parts, making the activity both fun and educational.
Pretend Jungle Adventure
The Baby Dragons embarked on a pretend jungle adventure, exploring different materials and learning about the Big Five animals of Africa.
The tactile experience with pretend animal skins, rocks, and leaves made it a memorable day filled with joy and learning.
Languages we learned
Mandarin Lessons
Xiaoxi, Sophie, Dong taught the children Mandarin words related to summer, such as summer, holiday, and water. The sessions included Mandarin music, enhancing the children’s language skills through song and rhythm.
Cultural Exchange
Catherine, from Zimbabwe, introduced the children to her native language by teaching them how to say hello, enriching their cultural awareness and linguistic abilities.
Cultures & Regions
African Culture
The children explored African patterns, designing their own unique patterns, and engaged in playdough pretend play to understand African food and culture.
Sports Day
This month’s highlight was our Sports Day, led by teacher Jack. The children participated in various physical activities, enjoying a day of fun and exercise.

Next week, we will embark on a new adventure exploring Australia and the Pacific Rim, diving into the cultures and traditions of these fascinating regions.
