• Half-Term Break: From 7th April 2025 to 21st April 2025 (for children on term-time, fully funded)
• With the sunny weather upon us, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the warmer days. Light layers, hats, and sunscreen are essential for sun protection. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen to help protect your child’s skin throughout the day!

Modern Language and Communication for our Little Learners

At our nursery in Westminster, spring has brought a flurry of new words, sights, and sounds for our babies and toddlers. In our early years language development sessions, the children explored springtime creatures like bees, butterflies, and caterpillars through lively sound-play, movement, and storytelling.

As a trusted provider of childcare in Belgravia and Central London, we also introduced the Makaton sign for "bird", incorporating it into our daily songs and stories. The children eagerly practiced the sign while watching birds outside in our secure garden area—an example of how we blend sensory exploration with communication development.

Celebrating Spring and Creativity in Central London

In celebration of the new season, ourWestminster / Belgravia nursery babies made vibrant flower collages with soft, colourful paper. Before crafting, they explored the textures and scents of real flowers—an immersive activity supporting sensory development and early creative expression.

We also marked World Art Day by introducing the children to Claude Monet’s Water Lilies. Using paper plates, they painted with pastels and swirls, experimenting with colour mixing and brush strokes in a toddler-friendly interpretation of fine art—just one of the ways our nursery integrates art and culture into early years education.

Meanwhile, our Easter tuff tray offered sensory-rich learning filled with foamy clouds, pastel paints, and playful scenes of springtime bunnies and eggs. This immersive tray helped children explore colour, texture, and imagination through hands-on discovery.  

A Springtime Excursion to Vauxhall City Farm

Children at our nursery near Westminster and Belgravia were thrilled to visit Vauxhall City Farm. They met real-life animals including sheep, goats, ponies, and chickens—engaging all their senses in a day full of laughter, learning, and curiosity.

Our little ones made the most of the Westminster spring sunshine in our safe outdoor garden. They sang along to springtime songs while spotting ladybirds and butterflies, supporting both language development and nature awareness.

Our little ones enjoyed a spring-themed music session with Lucy Sparkles, filled with ribbons, puppets, and percussion instruments. At our nursery in Central London, the children in the Dragon Flights room explored the colourful and imaginative world of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. Known for his iconic mosaics and whimsical structures, Gaudí’s work inspired our preschoolers to design their own vibrant, mosaic-style artwork using paper tiles and textured materials.
